Hit the slopes of Pitztal!

Pow(d)er and fun

Where is skiing the most fun? In a glacier ski area that’s spoilt with natural snow from December to April!

Pitztal is also called the “roof of Tyrol”. And there’s a good reason for this name, as 76 three-thousand-metre peaks await you! So, hop on your skis or snowboard and hit the slopes of the Hochzeiger and Rifflsee ski areas or the Pitztal glacier – here, you can carve down a total of 96 kilometres of challenging ski slopes, all accompanied by a spectacular mountain panorama. Our tip: Take the Wildspitzbahn cable car up to Brunnenkogel (3,440 metres) and replenish your energy with a coffee and a piece of cake in Austria’s highest café with free-floating panoramic terrace before carving down towards the valley. Freestylers and snowboarders can get an adrenaline kick in the snow and fun park with rails, boxes, halfpipes, and kickers, while beginners and families can enjoy the more leisurely ski slopes. And best of all, you can reach all ski areas with the free ski bus – and its stop is just 10 metres away from our Alpine hotel in Pitztal.
