Off to St. Leonhard im Pitztal!

Your dream holiday at Sportalm is booked, your suitcases are packed, now it’s time to buckle up and start your journey! You can reach our hotel via several routes by car or comfortably by train or plane.

Arrival by car:

If you are travelling from the north, take Fern Pass and then take at the Imst exit. Alternatively, you can take Inntal motorway via Kufstein and Innsbruck to the Imst exit.

If you are travelling from the east, take the motorway via Salzburg and Innsbruck and then Inntal motorway to the Imst exit. Alternatively, you can take Felbertauern-Str., past St. Johann and Wörgl, and then Inntal motorway to the Imst exit.

If you are travelling from the west, take the Arlberg tunnel and Inntal motorway to the Imst exit.

If you are travelling from the south, take the Brenner motorway to Innsbruck and then Inntal motorway to the Imst exit.

From Imst, it is about a half-hour drive through Pitztal to Alpine Resort Sportalm. Our hotel is in the tranquil village of Plangeroß, which belongs to the municipality of St. Leonhard im Pitztal.

Arrival by train:

If you are arriving by train, it is best to travel via Innsbruck (coming from the north, south, and east) or via Landeck (coming from the west) to Imst station. At the station, there are hourly bus connections to all villages in Pitztal. You can find more information at www.oebb.at.

Please let us know if you are arriving by train. In this case, we’ll provide you with a free voucher for the bus connection from Imst railway station to Alpine Resort Sportalm in Plangeroß.

Arrival by plane:

If you’re flying to your Sportalm holiday, it’s best to choose Innsbruck (95km), Zurich (295km), Munich (195km), or Salzburg (230km) as your destination airport. These cities offer you good rail connections to Imst and then on to Pitztal.
