Energising Alpine trails
Pitztal offers an extensive network of mountain bike and e-bike routes that wind through the valley and climb high into the mountains.

• The valley’s central artery for (e-)bike adventures is the Pitztal Bike Route. At around 40 kilometres long with an impressive 1,350 metres of elevation gain, it offers a remarkable blend of forest roads, natural trails, and far-reaching views.
• A firm favourite is the route from St Leonhard to the Tiefentalalm. From the church in St Leonhard, follow the gravel path to the pilgrimage church of St Maria am Bichele, then follow the signs towards the Tiefentalalm. You’ll reach it after roughly 5.5 kilometres and about 500 metres of ascent.
